After general discussion between parents & when they come to the point, see how “deal” starts from boy’s parents & ends with a punch from girl’s parents.

Look, my son is an engineer in MNC. He earns lakhs of money; He will keep your daughter very happy.We have not demanded much. In fact, this much is less for what he deserves.

Oh..  Sorry.. I didn’t know that your son is For SELL. In that case, he is cheaper than my daughter. My daughter also earns as much as he does, she is as educated as he is,. In fact she is more deserved than him as she knows many more things than your son like household activities, she can manage home, your parents, job etc simultaneously.  She is independent in every aspect.

In this sense, actually you need to pay us but sorry boss, she is not for sell.

Most of the girl's parents take the demands lightly for the reason even though they would not have asked, we would have given this much. But wait, its not about how much are they demanding... Its about their attitude of "Demanding". 

Giving on your own is a Gift. Giving on demand is dowry.  

Don't wrap dowry as gift...

When you are alone, that’s the best time actually what you have with you.  Its actually like you are spending time with nobody else but you & if you are not happy which means you don’t like your own company. Is it so?

Learn to enjoy your own company. You are alone at home & got bored.. Go out on the road, see around, may be this time you will see things differently than usual, because you don’t have anybody’s perception or view with you. It is You. Your view.

You don’t know how to paint, still, take a brush & start. You will end up with something new, may be the good one. You will not believe that you have done it.

You can sing louder & louder no matter how worst your voice is.

You can dance as wild as you want, as passionately as you want. Nobody will stop you.

You can cook for yourself whatever you like the most.

You can read. You can write.

Don’t worry about future, but you can think of it better.

Being alone comes with a freedom of doing what you love. 
You are not liable to answer anyone for whatever you love to do.

Learn to enjoy lonelyhood. I love this.
